Firstly, what is Wellness?
‘Wellness is a state of complete physical, mental and social well-being and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity’ - World Health Organisation
Wellness encompasses every facet of a person’s health: physical, mental and emotional.
Have a think about what wellness means to you and which aspects of your own personal wellness you would like to improve. Some goals can seem so big that they are overwhelming, so break the big picture down into more manageable chunks.
We all know that sleep is essential, but how many of us sleep enough? We function better after a good night’s sleep. We are more productive, calmer, happier and will even make better health choices after a restful night. Sleep increases resilience too.
For me, there are two main areas to focus on to get a better sleep: preparing the space and preparing ourselves.
Do you feel your life is stuck in a rut and you don’t know how to move forward?
For many people this dilemma can be what brings them to coaching. How can you ‘unstick’? How can coaching help?
I am always on the lookout for simple, effective additions to my daily routine. Dry skin brushing is just one of those techniques that can achieve real health benefits with a minimal amount of time (and expense).
How can you find calm when you need it? Being able to find inner peace and composure is a valuable tool that can help us all at moments of pressure or stress. Some people instinctively seem to be able to step back, breathe, and retain or regain their composure. Others find it more difficult. So how can you do it?
